At this time, the Courthouse is closed to the public through June 5, 2020. However, the Court employees are working hard to address every emergency and bond hearing that is filed. Emergencies can be filed 24/7 at the drop box located at the Commissioner entrance to the Courthouse. The drop box is checked several times a day and pleadings are reviewed and addressed. Remote hearings in front of a Judge are scheduled, if needed. Bond hearings are also heard each day. Please see the attached link to the Order of the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals which addresses matters that shall be heard by the Circuit Court during these Reduced Operations. If you have questions, you can call 301-952-3655, and someone will endeavor to address your concerns. Stay safe during this very difficult time.
