Effective Monday, March 7, 2022, please adhere to the following policies and procedures at the Courthouse:
- Masks will be strongly encouraged.
- Temperature checks and written/electronic health screening questionnaires will no longer be required when entering either the Circuit or District Courts.
- Social Distancing requirements shall be relaxed, but the Circuit Court and District Court may require continued restrictions to limit the concentration of individuals and allow social distancing as necessary.
- The Administrative Judges may limit, temporarily, the number of people entering the Courthouse or a courtroom to achieve necessary social distancing requirements.
- The Courts shall be open to the public and appointments, while preferred, are not necessary. However, notices shall inform individuals seeking access to the Courthouse that access to the Courthouse and courtrooms may be limited on an intermittent basis.
- Self-screening questions shall be posted on the exterior of the Courthouse and access may be restricted to any person who indicates they have COVID-19 symptoms.
- If an employee, citizen or member of the bar is denied entry based on the self-assessment screening protocol, they will be provided with information to contact the Court to address the purpose of their visit.
- The Sheriff's Office and/or Bailiffs shall deny entry to and/or remove any person who refuses to comply with or violates the Administrative Order.
