On Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., the Circuit Court for Prince George's County will celebrate the graduates of its Truancy Reduction Court and Juvenile Drug Court at the Prince George's County Courthouse in Courtroom M3400.
For the ceremony, the Honorable Sheila R. Tillerson Adams, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, will welcome graduates and attendees. Following, the Honorable Karen H. Mason, Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Drug Court and Magistrate Althea Stewart Jones, Presiding Magistrate of the Truancy Reduction Court will provide remarks.
This year's keynote speaker is Ron H. Smith , Director of the Bison STEM Scholars Program at Howard University where he has been employed since October 2016. As the creator of the program, Mr. Smith is responsible for the continued growth and development of the program. His primary responsibility is to prepare the program scholars to become the strongest and best prepared applicants for the most competitive graduate and professional schools in the United States and beyond.
The ceremony will culminate with a presentation of completion certificates to the graduates.
